Piotr Latoszyński was born in 1981 in Warsaw. He graduated with honours from the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź – the professor Tadeusz Chmielewski piano class. He continued his piano studies at the Robert Schumann Hohschule in Duesseldorf (Konzertexamen) and at the Academy of Music in Kraków (post-graduate studies) under the tutelage of professor Wiesłąw Piękoś.
He took part in numerous master courses, where he studied under many exceptional pedagogues such as: Hiroko Nakamura, Arie Vardi, Rudolf Buchbinder, Kevin Kenner, Yves Henry, Yvonne Lee, Jerome Lowenthal.
He has many a time taken part in music festivals, i.e. at the International Festivities at Mariańskie Łaźnie, Nohant Chopin Festivities, the Ruhr Klavierfestival.
He has performed at multiple national and international piano competitions. He is a laureate of the Polish Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Warsaw and the International Chamber Music Competition in Łódź in the piano trio category, as well as the winner of International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competitions: in Mariańskie Łaźnie, and Miłosz Magin in Paris.
A Ukrainian pianist and soloist at the Lviv Philharmonic. He regularly gives concerts in Ukraine and Poland. He has performed with the Lviv Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine and the National Odessa Symphonic Orchestra. He is a laureate of numerous competitions, including the International Competition of Contemporary Chamber Music “Art of the 21st century”, II International Piano Competition in memory of Emil Gilels and the II Mykola Lysenko International Music Competition.
Serhij Hryhorienko is a member of the Fryderyk Chopin Society in Lviv, the W.A. Mozart Society in Lviv and the National Union of Theatre Activists.
