Anna Maria Stańczyk

She has studied in Warsaw under the tutelage of Maria Zubelewicz-Bojar, Maria Poniatowska, Jan Ekier, Bronisława Kawalla and in London under Louis Kentner, with whom she later performed concerts for two pianos.

The pianist has received many awards, i.a. Award of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for Merit to Polish Culture. In the Great Britain she created and ran the “Peripatetic Piano School”, she is also a co-founder and artistic director of the Archway Trust, an organisation supporting young pianists.

The artist is a founding member and artistic director of the “Music Floralia – Music in Flowers” International Piano Festival in Powsin.

Paweł Kowalski

One of the most versatile Polish musicians, he performs over forty pieces for the piano and orchestra by Mozart, Chopin, Panufnik, Kilar and Górecki, recitals, chamber music, film scores and jazz. The pianist was the first (after Krystian Zimmerman) to perform the piano concerto by Witold Lutosławski, which he played in Warsaw under a conductor.

Paweł Kowalski studied in Cologne, Warsaw and Vancouver, thanks to the Witold Lutosławski Scholarship. The pianist has performed in forty countries on four continents, and in all of the Polish Philharmonics.

Paweł Kowalski sat on the jury of six international piano competitions. He did the commentary on the XVII International Chopin Competition for TVP Kultura.
