Jerzy Sterczyński

Born in Bielsko-Biała, after graduating from the Secondary School of Music he continued his education at the Academy of Music in Katowice under professor Andrzej Jasiński and graduated with distinction in 1981. He honed his skills in London under John Bingham.

He is touring extensively in Europe, Asia and South America. He is also interested in chamber music, performs with his wife as a piano duo. There is a special place in his musical activity for recording, many of his albums are dedicated to Chopin.

Since 1989 he has his own piano class at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. For two terms he has been the dean of the Piano, Harpsichord and Organs Department there. At the moment he is the head of the Piano Department. He also does piano courses and sits at the jury of competitions in Europe and many countries in Asia.



Yuka Susono

She was born on the 22nd of January in 1986 in Japan. She is a graduate of the Music Department at the Toho Gakuen College in Tokyo – Kozue Kurebayashi’s class. After graduation in Japan, she studied at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Poland under the guidance of Kazimierz Gierżod. She has been performing concerts in Poland and Japan.
