Piotr Pawlak

Piotr Pawlak - is educated in the piano class of prof. Waldemar Wojtal at the Music Academy in Gdańsk. Has performed, among others in the USA, Russia, Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Lithuania, Hungary, Georgia, Denmark, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Austria and in many Polish cities, and in October this year is scheduled to tour China. He was a scholarship holder of the National Children's Fund, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Minister of National Education, the Prime Minister, the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk. In 2018 he received the Pomeranian Artistic Award in the category of Pomeranian Artistic Hope. He is a laureate of many international piano competitions, he won, among others 1st prize and the best improvisation prize at the 11th International Chopin Piano Competition in Darmstadt, 2nd prize at the 1st International Chopin Piano Competition in Beijing, 2nd prize (I was not awarded) at the 8th International Chopin Piano Competition in Budapest, 1st prize at the 3rd International Piano Competition for Young Virtuosos Leopold Godowski or II prize at the III International Chopin Piano Competition in Krakow. In October 2015, Piotr participated in the 17th International Competition named after Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw.
