Giuliano Adorno

An exceptional Italian pianist, laureate of multiple awards at International Piano Competitions. He has performed in the whole of Europe, at festivals in Salzburg, Alicante, Grossetto, Alexandria and in Japan as well.

He has studied under the tutelage of Prof. Antonio di Cristofano, Prof. Nelson Delle Vigne in Paris and under Prof. Leonel Morales in Madrid.

Not only does he perform solo recitals, but also he plays with orchestras and solo musicians, e.g. the oboist Albrecht Mayer, singer Elisabeth Norberg Schultz and celloist Hans Eberhard Dentler.

He is also devoted to the pedagogical activity – he is a professor at the Music Academy in Grosetto. This will be his first time visiting Poland.

Maria Korecka-Soszkowska

She has studied in the Academy of Music in Kraków and in Hochschule fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna. She is a laureate of national and international competitions and festivals, i.a. in 1978 she won Premio Jose Miguel Ruiz Morales in Santiago de Compostela (Spain), the only award given for the best interpretation of Spanish music at the month-long International Festival.

She began her concert activity in 1962. She boasts an artistic record of hundreds of stage performances, recitals and symphonic concerts as well as numerous radio, television, and album recordings.

She began her pedagogical activity in 1967 as an employee of the Higher State School of Music in Warsaw. Between 1988-1990 she had a piano class at the Bilkent University in Ankara. Since 1992 she’s been working in the G. and K. Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. In 2007 she was appointed the head of the Piano Department.

She sat at the jury of competitions in Ukraine, Denmark and Poland. She held piano classes and workshops in Poland, Ukraine, Denmark and Lithuania. She is a member of the Fryderyk Chopin Society in Warsaw, where she is on her second term as the vice president.
